Jobs & Volunteering

The San Joaquin County Fairgrounds is a significant contributor to the community’s economic and social well-being by providing a year-round recreational facility and business park. Our grounds and buildings are used for everything from concerts, rodeos, weddings, quinceaneras, fund-raising dinners, emergency food bank events, and more. The Fairgrounds even hosts one of the County’s largest flea markets every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday!

  • Staff must have open availability May 30 - June 1. Must be 18 years or older
  • All positions start at $16.00 per hour
  • Staff must have appropriate ID in original format in accordance with I9 form and be eligible to work in the United States.

VOLUNTEER AT THE FAIR!

VOLUNTEERS/INTERNS: The San Joaquin Fair Volunteer program is open to groups and individuals. All volunteers must be 16 years of age but youth groups with adult(s) supervision will be considered. For more information about volunteer opportunities, email office@sanjoaquinfair.com.
Volunteers Groups Needed for:

  • Exhibits Department Set Up Clean Up
  • Exhibit Hall Monitors
  • Judging (Skill Set and Experience Required
  • Info Booth/Greeters
  • Conservation/Recycle Crew

We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals and groups to lend a hand and be part of the excitement at the 2025 San Joaquin County Fair, happening May 30 – June 1, 2025! Whether you’re passionate about community events or just love being at the fair, volunteering is a great way to get involved, make new friends, and have fun.

Fill out the application below, and our Volunteer Coordinator will be in touch soon. As a thank you, each volunteer will receive 1 free admission and 1 parking ticket after every shift worked.
